BACKGROUND

Bret Hart Elementary School is a beloved part of the local community, dedicated to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for students and families. A Welcome Back Social was planned to kick off the school year, complete with food trucks and a PTA meeting to build community engagement. They needed a digital graphic for email newsletters and social media to promote the event and encourage attendance.

THE PROJECT

The Details The goal was to design a friendly, back-to-school-themed graphic that clearly presented event details such as the time, date, food truck options, RSVP link, and PTA meeting info. The layout needed to be organized and adaptable for various platforms while maintaining an inviting tone. The Digital Graphic The final design featured a chalkboard aesthetic, evoking a nostalgic classroom feel. Essential details like the event time, date, and location were highlighted prominently, with food truck announcements and RSVP information positioned below for easy readability. Pops of color emphasized key points, and a QR code for PTA sign-up ensured quick engagement. The layout was clean and intuitive, guiding viewers naturally through the information.

THE COMPLETION

The chalkboard-inspired graphic captured the excitement of a new school year while effectively communicating event details. It resonated across email and social media, driving RSVPs and PTA involvement, and successfully fostering community spirit at Bret Harte Elementary.
